      Beautiful sound is the start. Klyqo also stays out of your way, respects your privacy and lets you make it your own.

      Goes quiet when you are on a call

      Klyqo notices when any app is using your microphone and falls silent, then comes back by itself. It never opens your microphone.

      Silent where it should be

      Password fields and secure input never make a sound, and nothing you type is saved.

      Record your own keyboard

      Tap your keys while Klyqo listens. It finds every press and release and builds a sound pack that stays on your Mac.

        Every app gets the sound you picked, or the one you assigned it. Calls and secure fields stay quiet.

      macOS asks once, in its own words, before Klyqo can hear your keys in other apps. It is read-only: Klyqo cannot change, block or keep what you type. You can preview every sound first without granting anything, and turn the permission off any time in Privacy & Security.

      10Privacy

      It listens to your keys. It never remembers them.

      Klyqo has to know a key was pressed to play a sound. Here is exactly what it sees, what it keeps and what it will never keep.

      What it sees

      • That a key was pressed or released
      • Which part of the keyboard it was, to place the sound left or right
      • Whether your microphone is in use, to go quiet on calls

      What it keeps

      • Optional daily and hourly totals, and your best typing pace, if you turn activity on
      • Your settings and the sounds you imported or recorded
      • A license key, once licensing is live, and nothing else

      What it never keeps

      • What you type, or any key names or sequences
      • App names, window titles, websites or file paths
      • Recordings of you, beyond the keyboard clips you make in the Record tab
