About us
Ballmac (“we”, “us”) is an independent software company that makes apps for the Mac, including Binzide, and builds apps and websites for clients. You can reach us at hello@ballmac.com.
Using Binzide
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Binzide on Macs you own or control, subject to these terms. Binzide Free is available at no cost with the limits described on the Binzide page, such as cleaning up to 500 MB at a time.
Parts of Binzide are based on open-source software, which remains available under its own licenses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.
Binzide Pro licenses
- Binzide Pro is a paid upgrade that unlocks the features listed on the Binzide page at the time of purchase, including unlimited cleaning and advanced developer tools. The current price is $11.99, shown with any applicable taxes at checkout.
- Each license key can be activated on the number of Macs stated at purchase. You can deactivate a Mac in Binzide's License tab to move the license to another Mac.
- License keys are for you or your organization. Don't share, resell, or publish your key.
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the license key is deactivated and Pro features stop working. See our Refund Policy.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo Payments handles payment, billing, sales tax or VAT, and receipts, and its terms also apply to your purchase.
Using cleanup and system tools responsibly
Binzide can remove files, uninstall apps, change your hosts file, and manage background items, but only when you choose to. It highlights risky items, leaves them unselected by default, and moves removable items to the Trash where possible. You are responsible for reviewing what you remove and for keeping backups of important data. Use network tools such as Port Scanner and cURL Lab only on systems you own or have permission to test.
Client services
When we build an app or website for you, the scope, timeline, fees, and ownership of the work are set out in a separate written agreement or proposal. That agreement takes precedence over these terms for the project. Submitting the Work with us form doesn't create a contract.
Intellectual property
Ballmac, Binzide, our logos, and the content of this website belong to us. Don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.
Disclaimer
Binzide and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that Binzide will be error-free or meet every need.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Binzide or this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to Binzide Pro is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes and termination
We may update Binzide and these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. You can stop using Binzide at any time. We may suspend a license that is used in breach of these terms.
