What is built, what is next, and what Klyqo will never do. No dates: this describes intent, not a promise, and it can change.

Built

In the version we are testing now.

  • 46 sounds, 38 of them recorded packs
  • Keyboard, mouse and scroll sounds
  • Record your own keyboard, or import WAV files
  • Quiet during calls and in secure fields
  • Per-app sound assignment and a menu bar studio
  • Trial by email and license management

Working on

Next, once the first version is in people's hands.

  • Apple notarization, so the first launch needs no extra step
  • Measured typing-to-sound delay, published here
  • More mouse click and scroll sounds

Considering

Ideas we have heard, in no order.

  • More recorded packs, only where the source can be named and licensed
  • Sharing a pack you recorded with another Mac
  • Per-key tuning for imported packs

Deliberately not planned

Things Klyqo will not do.

  • No subscription, ever: one payment
  • No account to create
  • No telemetry or usage analytics
  • No logging of what you type
  • No locked features: the trial and the license include everything
