Binzide
Mac · built and run by Ballmac
A large native Mac app, built to be private and reversible.
- Swift
- SwiftUI
- macOS 14+
- Apple silicon and Intel
- Keychain
The problem
Mac cleaners and utilities often ask for a lot of trust: broad access to your files, opaque scanning, background services and a subscription. Developers and careful Mac users want the opposite, a tool that shows what it will do, can undo it and stays on their machine.
What we built
- A native app in Swift and SwiftUI that feels at home on the Mac and runs on both Apple silicon and Intel.
- Storage analysis and cleanup, a complete app uninstaller that removes support files, and live views of CPU, memory, network and storage.
- 20 local developer tools, from a JSON formatter and regex lab to JWT, certificate and cURL labs. They run on the Mac, and the few that use the network do so only when you start them.
- Reversible by default: removed items go to the Trash, risky items start unchecked and system-critical paths are blocked.
- Private by design: no account, no analytics service and no cloud backend. Network requests happen only when you start them.
- A free tier plus a one-time Pro licence. The licence key is stored in the macOS Keychain, and can be deactivated on one Mac to move it to another.
- Ten languages, so the same app reads naturally for users around the world.

The result
- A shipped, supported Mac app with a free download and a paid Pro upgrade.
- A product page, install guide, support flow and licence handling around it, not just the app.
- The same approach reused for two more apps, Notchware and Sideme.
